We handcraft our Pontalba Table Lamp in our own workshop from authentic cast iron and steel. We then complete each one with a hand applied textural finish that replicates a time worn vintage architectural look. You will appreciate the robust weight, feel, and appearance of our table lamps. Our Pontalba Table Lamp is named after the Pontalba Buildings on Jackson Square in the French Quarter of New Orleans. These Parisian-style matching brick buildings were built in the late 1840s by the Baroness Micaela Almonester Pontalba, and include the first recorded instance in the city of the use of iron railings. These lamps perfectly embody the Pontalba Buildings and the essence of New Orleans. Each lamp is unique; so matched sets of lamps should be ordered at the same time and we will assure finish compatibility.
